Vanilla cupcakes with cream cheese center

Ingredients:

For cupcakes:

1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup of sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup of milk
For the cream cheese center:
200 g of cream cheese, room temperature
1/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

Turn the oven on 180 degrees. Prepare cupcake molds lined with baking paper.

In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

Add the eggs one at a time, beating thoroughly after each addition. Then add the vanilla extract.

In another bowl, mix the flour, baking powder and salt.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter and sugar mixture, alternating with milk.

To make the cream cheese center, whisk the cream cheese, sugar, egg and vanilla extract in a bowl until smooth.

Fill each cupcake mold with half the dough, add a small amount of the cream cheese mixture, and then cover it with the remaining dough.

Bake the cupcakes in a preheated oven for about 18-20 minutes or until golden brown.

Allow the cupcakes to cool completely in the molds before transferring them to the grill to cool.

Serve and enjoy vanilla cupcakes with cream cheese center!
